Our professional buying team shops both domestically and abroad searching for the latest in home fashions and designs. Once found, we purchase these hand picked items by the truckload and bulk container resulting in huge savings which we pass on to you!

The Metairie Showroom is remodeled, remerchandised, renewed and ready for you! With over 50,000 square feet of exciting home furnishings and major appliances from hundreds of manufacturers this is truly a shopping destination!!

The Warehouse Outlet will appeal to the extreme bargin hunter with 30,000 square feet of closeouts, discontinued items, hot buys and scratch and dent appliances!

Our warehouse is one of the largest in the region spanning 5 stories and 200,000 square feet. This space allows Comeaux to make the bulk buys that result in real savings for you!

History

Comeaux Furniture and Appliance was founded February 1953 in New Orleans by S.W. "Buddy" Comeaux Jr.

In 1958 Buddy and his wife Corinne saw potential in a piece of land with a dirt road in the developing suburb of Metairie. In 1959 against the advice of many and with the help of an SBA loan, Buddy and Corinne built a store on that dirt road that is now Veterans Blvd.

Over the years, the building has undergone several remodels and expansions growing along with the Greater New Orleans Area. Today, Comeaux Furniture and Appliance remains family owned and operated and true to Buddy's founding concept of providing unmatched value with; "The Look You Want At The Price You Want!"
