Back left burner gets hot when using the oven. I burned myself and my son has also burned himself. This is a very big safety issue. There is no warning label anywhere. Not on the oven or in the manual. I have called corporate numerous time and haven't been able to talk to anyone that seems to care.

I bought this oven almost 2 months ago and while the oven works fine the burner coils do not put out enough energy to boil water properly fry food. Medium to large pots of water will often never heat enough to boil, adding foods to a frying pan will cause it to cool so much it steamed rather than sauteed. This is a known issues, mentioned on many other reviews. Amana supplies a canned response when asked about the issue."The new coil burners are now equipped with temperature-limited coils. The outer coil of the element will remain on all the time, but will not "glow" as strongly as previous element designs. The outer coils are still on and heating, even if they are not glowing. The inner coils will cycle on and off, which is normal operation. The inner coils will glow red when cycling on." !! Do Not buy this stove!!

Trying to boil water on this stove is very painful. It takes up to 1/2 an hour just to bring a small pot of water to a boil, never mind adding anything to it. This stove is going to have o go back, as i need a stove that is efficient and timely

I love the features on this range. The cook top coils are very responsive, and the oven temps are spot on. Love the warning messages in the display that lets you know the status of the stove top coils.

I bought my new stove just over a month ago. I love the push button features. The only down fall I have come across is the timer only beeps once and it is not very loud. My old stove the timer would beep until you turned it off I wish this one was the same.

Stove is great to use. Easy instructions. Did not realize the top was a powder coat. Hard to clean and you have to use window cleaner, after wiping with dish cloth, to remove streaks.

The main reason for purchasing this range was the price. I like the older styles of appliances, without all of the bells and whistles. I would prefer a model that did not have the timer or push button control for the oven. These are usually the first part of an appliance to fail, and the most expensive to repair. I have already started saving for a model that meets my requirements. Until then, the one that I have will do.
