Frigidaire knows things to do from design, engineering, manufacturing, etc. The burner flam is focus and strong and pretty reliable.I've used a few other name-brand ranges before, but they always have problems. Most recently, the Samsung control board display abruptly went black without any prior notice after less than three years of operation. However, I have used some refrigerators and washers under the Frigidaire brand, and they never broke until I made the decision to replace them with new ones.

If you had asked me in my youth if I was excited about kitchen appliances, I would have given you the "Are you nuts" look. Our old refrigerator was 16 years old and "going" so we went shopping on line at Home Depot and found our new frig. I also never thought I would be buying a refrigerator sight unseen. The oven bakes very well. I love the convection oven too! I gave this 4 stars because the cast iron grates get very hot & there is a safety concern since they are so close to the knobs. I'm also worried about young grandchildren reaching the grates.

So far we are very happy with this model. The grates are wide to allow for additional cooking space and the burners heat evenly. The oven warms quickly and allows you to see the temp as it increases instead of just beeping when it gets to the desired temp. The oven also heats up quickly and cooks evenly. Our only complaint (we forgot to consider before purchasing) is that it does not come with the center-burner griddle. Purchasing the griddle afterwards is a bit pricey relative to the cost of the range itself. Even still, we highly recommend this model.

I grew up with gas stoves, that™€™s what I™€™m used to, that™€™s what I like! With that being said we have had electric stoves in every home we have had for 10 years now. So when we had the option to have gas in this home I was all for it! I picked out the frigid air slide in gas stove with convection and absolutely love it! As soon as it was installed we started it up right away. Great product!
