This fridge came with my condo which is new construction (2016). I like the features and the look but I've had the same trouble as others. It is c. 3 years old and already the ice crusher is stuck and doesn't work, and cubes don't always dispense either. At one point, the compressor seemed to go off for a bit and there was water dripping down the back inside. At least, they stopped for now. I have a bad feeling about it. I chose not to buy the extended warranty, but that was only three years and it would be just out of that in Feb 2020 anyway... I have a feeling this thing will cost $$ in repairs. Have not yet had someone out to look at the ice maker.

Complete junk, waste of money

We bought this fridge 4 years ago from Sears. As soon as the warranty ran out, the problems began. The shelves in the doors are cheap plastic and one in the freezer broke off. The ice maker stopped working. The vent cover at the bottom never fit properly, a repairman came to give us a new one - didn't work. It basically sits on the floor. And best of all, the fridge lightbulb went out after about 2 years, and to replace them costs FORTY DOLLARS A BULB. After I finally found a place that carries them (specialty stores, you can't buy at a hardware store), the new one went after 6 months. So it looks like every few months I am going to have to order another $40 bulb, like I did, again, just the other day. Oh, and both fridge doors are completely covered with rust. Looks really great.We are redoing our house next year and I can't wait to get rid of this piece of junk. I thought about putting it out in our garage as a spare, but I don't think I ever want to see it again. The dishwasher we bought is also a piece of junk, the top spinner broke off after about a year and we are not paying their repair people to come out and make short term fixes. No more Frigidaire products for us. I wouldn't recommend this to my enemy.

Water leaks internal to the water dispenser and leaks down outside of freezer door. I'm not sure what the problem is.Otherwise it has been a good fridge.

I bought a brand new high end condo and this fridge was in as part of the package, i have had to replace the electronic module in its first year of use and now in the 3rd year of use, thats crazy fridges used to last for 25 + years in the past, I can't keep this one running more than 1 to 3 years without spending $ 400.00 on it, very unhappy with this product.

We bought this Frigde brand new through Lowes. Almost immediately it began having issues. There is a flaw in the ice dispenser design that causes jams and avalanches of ice that spill all over. The filler valve has a terrible problem with water hammer and is so loud as it closes it will literally wake you from your sleep as the machine makes ice... its horrid. The storage space is adequate but I am completely dissatisfied with this machine. I grew up in a house where all we had were Fridge's and those machines lasted lifetimes, sadly it is no longer that way if this machine is any indication.

I bought this refrigerator on a black Friday sale, it makes a very loud, annoying, knocking sound. It has something to do with the ice maker for sure cause right after the sound finally stops then ice drops into the bin. I want to return it.

Nice looking smudge-proof stainless

I didn't want stainless because of its high maintenance, but the townhouse I bought already had other stainless appliances so I bought this fridge. It really is smudge-proof and looks really nice - it's the perfect size for my small kitchen so I'm very happy with it.My only complaint would be that the water comes out like a steady trickle - it takes over 3 minutes to fill a 20 ounce bottle and I checked all the connections. I was hoping to give up my Pur filter pitcher, but it would take way too long to fill the reservoir on my coffeemaker using the fridge's dispense. Like others said, the ice maker can be a bit noisy but I got used to it.

We bought our Fridgidaire refrigerator a year ago (and 3 mo.). We've been very happy with its performance. I really like the features, including the digital controls. Surprisingly, the ice maker has been excellent, and it gets pretty heavy use.

We bought this fridge four years ago and it stopped working recently. We had a repair company diagnose the problem and were told it needs a new compressor, a $600-$800 repair. Needless to say, for that amount of money we decided to purchase a new one instead. Our new fridge is not a frigidaire.

I have had my refrigerator about 3 years now and have had 2 ice makers replaced. Now my ice maker has stopped working again. I'm out of warranty so who knows how much it will cost to fix or replace the worthless ice maker. I can't say that I would consider purchasing this brand again. I don't want to keep replacing the ice maker. Very disappointed

This came with our new home. We're used to a regular over-under, so figuring out how to store our stuff inside was a bit tricky at first. We figured out that it is deeper than it seems, and so far, it appears to be working great. The finish Is nice and fairly easy to take care of, and the water dispenser is a nice upgrade from our old fridge.

In general I am happy with my refrigerator. It was in my house when I bought it, new. I think that it works well, but a little noisy, specially when is making ice. The ice maker stopped working after 6 months, and technician came in and replaced the ice maker and the compressor. Also the ice cubes get stock easily in the door, so you need to be very careful because sometimes it leaves a little "hole" and the I side of the freezer condenses. The SS details do look nice, but does not clean good. On an all I am happy with it, next time I will consider a bibber refrigerator because this freezer is too small for is.

I bought it less than a year ago, the ice machine doesn't make ice anymore! I contacted customer service they advised me to shut the power off to reboot, no ice stuck and raised the temp to defrost still doesn't work. still waiting for someone to come out and check it.

This appliance looks very nice but the quality just is not there . I have just remodeled and created an open floor plan and the television is my only option to drown out the noise this refrigerator makes . I had a service technician come look at it and he said they all made noise like this in this particular model . If I had not already bought all the other new appliances , I would put my old one back in that is 25 years old just so I could watch tv at a normal volume level!!

I purchased a home and the fridge was already installed. I'm not sure what the complaints regarding the noise are - maybe I'm just not sensitive to certain noises since we have a puppy and like music on. Either way I have no complaints regarding the noise. The icemaker works fine and I've never had the water lines freeze. I wish there were less shelving actually and removed one to account for bottles and cake trays. Other than that, it's a fridge and it does what it's supposed to. I like the internal temperature alarm and that I can adjust the door trays. I would have purchased if given the choice :)

The ice maker is very noisy (24/7) so we turned it off unless we expect to need it for drinks. The water flowing out of the door panel is way slower than required ... unless your water (taste, smell or particulate) mandates filtering to be consumed. Lastly, the fridge's manual and the Canadian Frigidaire website indicates you may purchase accessories like: Wine Rack, Freezer Bins and a Special Item Rack, but the search engines nor product lists would help me locate any of these items. Moral of the story ... you pay for what you get and don't expect to add on to a pretty good unit afterwards!

In the past, we had trouble with the icemaker supply line, which occasionally froze, making it impossible to fill the cube-maker. Had to use a hairdryer a couple times to thaw it out. Under warranty, a technician came and repaired that problem and it hasn't happened for a couple of months. But it still is inconsistent in making icecubes. They get stuck in the "feeder" and the auger grinds away making an awful noise. I have to remove the entire tray and extricate the stuck cubes. This shouldn't be necessary, but happens all of the time. Other than that we do love the refrigerator.
