This microwave came with my newly built house Just after 7 months the microwave stop working. I was under warranty and it got replaced. The second one dies just when the warrany expired. That is two dead in just about 2 years. I don't recommend Frigidaire Microwaves.

This came as part of our appliance package with our home builder. We have a a Fridgedaire dishwasher, stovetop, oven, refrigerator, and this built in microwave. We have owned it for not even two years and it no longer heats our food. By reading reviews it seems as this is a poorly made appliance with replacement parts not available. Customer service was of no help as well. My previous microwave lasted 8 years and my parents have one that works like new that they have owned for 12 years.Disappointed with Fridgedaire and their support on assisting with a poorly made product.

The microwave that came with my new mobile home has broken and it hasn™™t been a complete year. I realize the mobile home was there two years prior to my purchasing it, but two years of non use. It should not have broken this quickly.

We are about to have our 3rd microwave installed after the Our first 2 broke within a year (last microwave is only a couple months old and no longer works). Our service from Frigidaire trying to get it replaced, has been very poor. They wanted to do a buy-back, but we just want a microwave that works! If it breaks again, outside of warranty, we will not be getting another Frigidaire.

Purchased this product to replace same product that was installed by the builder. First one was less than 2 years old & stopped heating. The replacement, purchased January 2022, has stopped heating. Warranty expired as today is 03/04/2023. Totally disgusted. Must now buy another replacement. I can promise that it will not be made by Frigidaire.

Not even a year in use and it started exploding! Literally catching on fire! It sparks fire! Again I do not recommend! After speaking with customer care they didn™™t seem to care. Im very unsatisfied with the way the handled my problem. It is a very big use because it™™s sparkling flames!

Last night, The microwave started itself after the power came back after the power was out for about 5 minutes and it went so hot the the glass rotary plate exploded. I had to turn the breaker off. I tested a couple of times by putting the breaker in, it smelled the rubber burning even if did not turn on.This is the second one in 4 years. The same one stopped working about 2 years ago. I had to buy the same one since it was for the built in.I am struggling now to find a new one now.Poor product.

We used the machine for a few days but a primary reason for having it is to bake potatoes. Upon using the potato sensor the potato actually ignited. Returned the machine.

We remodeled our kitchen in May of 2020. The microwave was bought in September of 2020. We don't use it often bc we don't eat much leftovers. Still looks brand new and won't heat. I put matching Frigidaire appliances. I called a repairman only to find out there are no available parts. Not happy

We bought a new home in August of 2021. The microwave broke the day before Thanksgiving of 2021. It looks like it™™s working, but doesn™™t heat anything. We didn™™t have any alternative but to go buy a small countertop model. When I tried to call for warranty service it was just endless holds. Not good business and not a good product.

Our first one lasted almost 4 years and started sparking. We thought it had to be user error somehow because when would a brand new microwave die so quickly?! We replaced it with the same model. Today it also died at just 2 years old. Awful and annoying.

Hello. I purchased a new home in December 2018. Within the first year my microwave was cracking and I was sent a gift card for another one. Now the new one is doing the exact same thing. The serial number is KG00780174 and the model number is FFMO1611LS. The microwave is no longer being sold now and I'm wondering if this is why. I dont understand how after being in a home for close to 4 years I would need 3 microwaves.

I bought Frigidaire microwave model FFMO1611LS, Serial number: KG05285075 in June 2021. It was installed after remodeling construction was completed at my house sometime in Dec 2021. I ordered this microwave well in advance based on the recommendation of the sales person at Airport Appliance in San Jose who mentioned that I should purchase all the appliances well in advance to avoid shortage of appliances due to supply chain constraints during Covid.This Microwave oven stopped heating the food during Thanksgiving holidays of 2022. We hardly used this microwave after its installation since we have many other appliances that can be used for heating food.I called the customer service number provided in one of the reviews here and spoke to James today. After a long hold, he came back and mentioned that the microwave oven is out of warranty since it bought it more than a year ago and it does not matter when I had it installed. He was offering to send a link to the troubleshooting and repair video or recommend a technician.I owned a couple of microwaves before and each of them worked for more than 15 years. I had to give them away even though they were working fine after I remodeled my house.The quality of this microwave appears to be of poor or I got a lemon. I would not recommend Frigidaire to anyone.

I am so sad to write that I have another broken microwave. The first time it was the turntable and the item was replaced under warranty within a year. This time the part is more than the microwave itself. It stopped heating the day before Thanksgiving. I think its the magnetron or the main part that controls the heating. The trouble is that I have the trim kit so in order to replace with another model, I have to buy another trim kit as well. It seems that this is a recurring issue after reading recent reviews. There has to be something that can be done.

Microwave FFMO1611LS is installed in a cabinet with trim kit in the home we purchased 6 months ago. Since that time, we have had 3 magnetron failures, and have replaced the magnetron 3 times. I'm told that the reason is inadequate ventilation in the cabinet. Is this a common problem with this model?

This microwave heats faster than any microwave I've ever owned! There are quick functions too, and programmable options. Just for reference, the popcorn button is only a little over 1 minute to pop a whole bag of microwave popcorn!

I used this new microwave for 3 years. I cooked for 10 minutes and it stopped hearing. Air is blowing but it does not heat. Not an hour or 30 minutes it took 10 minutes of continuous cooking to break. Such poor quality.
