The range seems to cook very well but the one thing we are not happy with is how long it takes to preheat. We have timed it and it consistently takes 15 min. to preheat. That is rediculis in our opinion.

I previously had a builder basic Frigidaire freestanding stove I hated it. The oven baked uneven and it did not hold a constant temperature. I bought a Frigidaire Gallery convection oven because of recommendation from a friend. The oven works perfectly and I love the steam clean feature. But, the stove is too hot. I turn it down to low or simmer and it keeps boiling. It will take some practice using so everything is not dried out or burned.

This stove/oven is very efficient. There are no bells and whistles which I like. The one main issue I had was (and the directions warn you of this) when the oven was turned on for the fist time, toxic fumes and smoke filled the room for over an hour. It was not quite as much the second time. Why can™™t this burn off process be complex at the factory? I would buy this unit again but figure out how to plug it in outside before it is installed for the burn off.

I bought the gallery series including stove, refrigerator, and microwave. I can recommend the refrigerator and microwave. I cannot recommend the stove. The stove has a defect that has not been resolved. The stovetop becomes too hot to touch when the oven is in use for 20 plus minutes. No burners are in use. The hot area of the stovetop is about 4 inches inward from the oven door. The store where I purchased the stove started this is normal. This is NOT normal .It is hot enough to burn skin. Remember no burners are on and had not previously been on. The oven is making the stovetop very hot. I wish the company would help.

I™™m still getting used to this appliance, only had it about a month. The oven heats up pretty quickly. I wish the fan worked with the regular bake setting in addition to the ™quick bake™ setting. I really like range top, it™™s easy to keep clean as long as one uses the recommended range cleaners, which I do. My two complaints about the range is the dials are plastic and they ™cheapen™ the look. The dials should be the same stainless steel composition as the handles, which are very attractive! The other complaint I have is that the display panel does not show a ™countdown™ when I use the ™time bake™ setting. These reasons are why I gave this appliance 4 stars instead of 5

I like this stove/oven. It came with the house I bought. It seems like good quality and works well for cooking. Both the stove and oven take fairly long to heat up, at least compared to the appliance at my last house. But I just try to account for that time when cooking. Overall I am happy with it and would buy it again if needed.

Had the fancier model (flat top, warming drawer and a lot more features we did not use).It quit working after a short low temp self clean cycle. Found the control board was fried. It was easier and cheaper to just replace the whole appliance. This model fit the bill for half the price.
