Solid if soap dispenses

This dishwasher is well designed and works well as expected. The one issue I've had is the dispensing of soap. We have hard water in NJ, and I have found that between cleanings, the soap dispenser door will get stuck and not open during the cycle. I have figured out the door can be removed and cleaned which helps a lot. This inconvenience is noteworthy IMO.

Our dishwasher was included with the house we purchased. It is in a very open concept kitchen but it is so quiet, you can't tell it's on. Easy dish rack arrangement. Love the top utensil tray! Cleans thoroughly every time. We use a powerball detergent. Highly recommend. Great DW for the price!

cleans fine, but frustrating drain sensor error

It cleans great, and is quiet. But ours is not that old, and consistently gives E24 errors saying the drain is blocked. I've troubleshot it multiple times and can't see any clog. If we let it sit for days or weeks, it works again. We've had technicians come out where this happened....total waste of money. I chalk it up to the sensor for the drain clog being too sensitive. We sprung for a Bosch to avoid performance issues. We are selling our house, and now have to replace this before we leave because it is so unreliable.

This would be a fine dishwasher but for the fact that the power no longer turns on. We had same issue with previous Bosch and they needed to replace the control panel. If you stand by your product, then you should cover the cost for the servicing. A minimum $160 fee is outrageous.

Love the quietness

I couldn't believe how quiet this dishwasher is. In an open floor plan, it is perfect because you can hardly hear it running. I would have rated it 5 except for one problem, a bad smell when you open it if the dishwasher door is left closed with dirty dishes in it. With two people, we only need to run it about twice a week so we now leave the door propped open with a plastic wedge and it has helped. We tried dishwasher cleaner, cleaning the filter, etc. but nothing helped.

Best dishwasher

We couldn't be more pleased with this dishwasher. Although pricey all the features make it worth the cost. It cleans better than any we've ever owned, has more loading capacity and the third top rack is so useful. The only concern is that our previous dishwasher was a Bosch. And it's pump failed. Which was somewhat unexpected for such a costly product. But it lasted over ten years, so?

I've wanted a Bosch dishwasher for a long time, and this one, recently purchased privately, doesn't disappoint. It's quiet enough to run anytime at night. Does an exemplary job cleaning…but expect to twiddle the last water away from food storage lids and the underside of cups unless you let it sit, slightly open, overnight (in the years since this model's introduction Bosch has engineered an upgrade option where the door pops open by itself). Parts are fairly easily identified on their site, although figuring out the right ones in case you end up wanting to change door handle style (door outer panel and handle/assembly) can require a bit of sleuthing.

My only complaint would be that the dishes do not come out dry. We have to manually dry all the glass tops before we unload them. Also, it is a bit tricky to load my large dishes. Otherwise I'm pretty happy with it.

Worked well until it didn't. Repair guy said that the dishwasher had detected a leak in the lower unit and shut everything down except a pump. Also took out both computer boards. More expensive to repair than to replace. Couldn't bring myself to buy another Bosch.

High Performance Bosch

We have had no serious problems w/ our Bosch Dishwasher. However 2 years into its use, we were finding difficulty with the soap dispenser door staying closed and then opening during the cycle of the wash to adequately clean the dishes. We were scared at first that we were going to have to call for a repair, but we were able to google a repair video which we could follow and correct the problem w/o contacting the Bosch. Were we relieved!

Love this quiet machine. It holds so much, the spaces are versatile, the light shines on the floor to warn you it's on and it opens up when finished so that the dishes really dry! Love it.

Purchased this dishwasher in August 2019. In February 2020 it would not drain - tech came out and it drained fine for him! Now in February 2021 it will not drain (again), the repairman had to call tech support for help. Apprarently we need a new heat pump to the tune of $438. After 18 months, are you kidding? Tried to get through to Bosh customer support, unable to do so.

multiple problems-no customer service

This is by far the worse dishwasher I have ever owned. I have had the repair man multiple times. Here are the negatives: 1. sporadically stops pumping out water.( the repair man from Marcella's Appliance - has been out twice for this.I bought this from them and they installed it. ) 2.Filter does not stay locked and spray arm falls off. 3. Control panel is stuck on one setting- all of a sudden-and can not be changed 4. rinse aid leaks out and has to be filled daily( this gets expensive) 5. Dishes must be washed prior to putting in the dishwasher.( or do not get clean) 6.Takes hours to get thru a cycle Only Good thing-It is quiet (Problems started after a year of working properly and are increasing.) Stay away from Bosch.
